Contact Methods

Contact Methods enables you to maintain a list of methods that insurance companies (assignors) can use to contact your company or employees (assignees). See Notification Rules to apply these contact methods when creating notification rules.

Access and add contact methods

  1. Select Contact Methods from the Administration menu. The Contact Methods dialogue box appears with the option to Add, Edit, or Delete.
  2. Click Add at the end of the list.
  3. Select the method Type:
  • Email
  • Text (SMS)
  • Xactimate - notifications upload when adjusters/contractors connect in Xactimate
You can select Business Email, Mobile, or Office for personal reference only.
  1. Enter the contact information in the provided fields.
  2. Click Save. The contact is added to the list.
  3. Enter the contact information in the provided fields. Click Save. The contact is added to the Contact Methods list.

Edit contact methods

  1. Click the Edit icon next to a contact method.
  2. Change the contact information as desired. Click Save. The contact is updated on the Contact Methods list.

Delete contact methods

  • Click the Delete icon next to a contact method.
The contacts marked (In Use) are currently associated with a notification rule. You cannot delete these contact methods unless the notification rule is first updated.
