Dates and times in XactInsights
Starting on July 31, 2025, all dates within XactInsights are displayed as Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), the global time standard used to ensure consistency and avoid ambiguity across different time zones.
By standardizing all timestamps to UTC, systems can accurately compare, sort, and query time-based data without being affected by regional time zone differences or daylight-saving time changes. This approach is especially important in distributed applications, where users or systems may operate in multiple geographic locations.
Due to this change, most of the dates displayed within XactInsights appear earlier than expected if the report includes other Verisk products such as Xactimate and ClaimXperience.
